This preliminary policy explains how Lita's Kitchen (Kingbird Solutions LLC) collects, uses, and protects your information. This is a preliminary draft pending review and is not legal advice.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your name and email.
- Order information such as the items you order, pickup or delivery choice, and a delivery address when you choose delivery.
- Payment information, handled by our processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- For Litas, business and compliance information such as the ADHS registration number, food handler card, meat-source attestation, and payout details.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace, process orders and payments, generate the required food labels, communicate with you about orders, and meet legal and tax obligations.
How we share it
With service providers that run the platform (Stripe for payments, Supabase for data, Resend for email), between a buyer and a Lita as needed to fulfill an order (a Lita sees a delivery address only for delivery; a buyer sees a pickup location only after the order is accepted), and as required by law.
Compliance documents
A food handler card and identity documents are stored with elevated controls and used only to verify a Lita eligibility to sell. They are not shown publicly.
Data security and retention
We encrypt personal information in transit and at rest and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Your choices and contact
