- Yes. Arizona legalized the sale of home-cooked food under HB 2042. Each cook registers with the state cottage food program and holds a current food handler card. Food is made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by a health department, and you acknowledge that before you pay.
- What does the Registered Kitchen badge mean?
- It means we verified the cook cottage food registration and a current food handler card. Only verified kitchens appear on the site and carry the badge.
- How do I pay? Is it secure?
- You pay online at checkout through Stripe, our payment processor. We never store your full card number. You pay when you place the order, and the cook is paid after she completes it.
- Can I message the cook?
- Yes. After you order, you can message the cook directly from your order to coordinate pickup or delivery, ask questions, or share allergy details.
- Can I track my order?
- Yes. Every order has a live status: received, accepted, ready, and completed. For pickup, the cook shares her location once she accepts.

- If a cook declines or cancels your order, you are refunded automatically. For anything else during this pilot, contact us and we will make it right case by case.

- If a cook shares a promo code, enter it at checkout to see the discount applied before you pay.
- What does it cost?
- You pay the food price, a small service fee, and any delivery fee. The cook keeps most of every order.
